Expert Opinion
The Dentatus IPR system is an extraordinary solution for fast, accurate interproximal reduction. While these tips are durable and generally last several months, we recommend restocking your most-used thicknesses to ensure your IPR remains calibrated and efficient. Pro Tip: For exceptionally tight contacts, always start with an ARC Diamond Saw before introducing the Profin blade.
Individual IPR Tip Refills: Calibrated, double-sided diamond blades for precise enamel reduction and orthodontic finishing.
Select Your Thickness

Refills are supplied in packs of 2. Select the required thickness below:

0.1 mm (Black) 15μ Polishing
0.2 mm (White) 40μ Finishing
0.3 mm (Yellow) 50μ Reduction
0.4 mm (Green) 50μ Reduction
0.5 mm (Red) 50μ Reduction
Operational Speed (Critical):
IPR tips must be run between 8,000 and 10,000 RPM (max). They are best suited for electric micromotors. If using a standard air motor, you must reduce the speed via the motor dial to prevent damage to the plastic tip connection.
Key Advantages
› Calibrated Accuracy: Pre-set widths ensure your enamel reduction matches the treatment plan exactly.
› Double-Sided Abrasive: Optimized for efficient removal; 0.1mm is extra-fine (15μ) for high-gloss finishing.
› Safe & Atraumatic: Reciprocating motion offers better gingival protection than rotary discs.
New to the system? We recommend starting with the IPR Starter Kit to obtain the full range of sizes and the autoclavable organizer stand. These tips require the Profin PDX Handpiece.
Technical Details
› Pack Contents: 2 x IPR Tips (Single Size).
› Maintenance: Fully autoclavable (135°C).
› Downloads: Full IPR Instructions (IFU).
