In our opinion, the EVE Diacera Occluflex is a superb choice for finishing posterior restorations in full-contour Zirconia. While universal systems exist, Zirconia’s extreme hardness is best managed with a specific grade of high-purity diamond. EVE is the original inventor and OEM manufacturer of this geometry—choosing Diacera ensures you are using the authentic German-engineered technology designed to cut through Zirconia's surface resistance efficiently.
The Occluflex "twisted bristle" design is engineered specifically to reach deep into the fissures and pits of monolithic Zirconia without grinding away your carefully sculpted anatomy.
Why Diacera vs Diapol?

For practitioners working primarily with Lithium Disilicate (e.max) or Feldspathic ceramics, we recommend the EVE Diapol Occluflex System.

While the systems look similar, Diacera features a significantly higher concentration of a toughened diamond grade designed to withstand the heat and friction associated with monolithic Zirconia.

⚠️ Critical Requirement: These instruments must be run in a clockwise direction. Running them in reverse will cause the bristles to splay and perish immediately.
Shape Benefits: Access & Cooling
› Superior Water Cooling: A unique advantage of the Occluflex shape is that it is significantly easier to cool with water from a 1:1 contra-angle. The open structure allows spray to penetrate the active polishing zone far more effectively than a standard Twist wheel.
› Anatomical Precision: Polishes the deep morphological details of the occlusal surface without "bottoming out" or removing fine anatomical characterization.
› Toughened Diamond Bond: Formulated to reach a high-gloss finish on Zirconia faster and with greater durability than universal polishers.
The 2-Step Protocol
› Step 1: Green (Medium). Pre-polishing stage for surface refinement.
› Step 2: Light Pink (Fine). High-shine stage for a brilliant, glaze-like lustre.
