Grit
The Next Generation
The Diacomp Plus Twist XT represents the next evolution in EVE’s industry-leading polishing technology. While it utilizes the same tried-and-tested diamond abrasive as the original Twist, the XT (Extended) geometry features longer, more flexible lamellae. This provides the clinician with even finer control and unparalleled access to difficult-to-reach areas.
Enhanced flexibility and a refined profile allow the XT to adapt to complex tooth morphology with even greater precision than the standard spiral design.
⚠️ Rotation Warning: To maintain the integrity of the extended lamellae, these instruments must be run in a clockwise direction.
Shape-Specific Benefits
› Superior Interproximal Access: The longer, tapered bristles allow the XT to reach deeper into embrasures and interproximal zones without needing to switch to a different instrument.
› Enhanced Tactile Feedback: The increased flexibility of the XT wings provides softer contact with the composite, allowing for a more delicate touch during the final high-shine phase.
› Universal Adaptation: The XT shape "wraps" around the tooth more effectively, ensuring that line angles and transition zones are polished as efficiently as the flat facial surfaces.
The 2-Step Protocol
› Step 1: Pink (Medium). Pre-polishing for surface refinement and smoothing.
› Step 2: White (Fine). High-shine for a brilliant, enamel-like finish.
Product Details
› Quantity: Available in Starter Kits or Refill Packs.
› Recommended Speed: 3,000 – 8,000 RPM.
› Shank Type: RA (Right Angle).

Clinical Tip: Use the XT with even lighter pressure than the original Twist. The longer lamellae are designed to "flick" across the surface, creating a mirror finish with minimal heat generation.
