The flame burs are included in our indirect kit principally for the BOPT vertical crown approach. The thin flame burs are are helpful for preparing proximal surfaces we also use them for general indirect preparations for fine finishing of rough preparation margins.
This bur is a fine grit which is the coarseness we would recommend for preparation refinement.
