Sectional contoured metal matrices provide tight, accurate contacts on Class II restorations.
We currently only stock the hardened steel variety of these bands which we have found best for avoiding deformation (if you want to order a soft steel band please see our “contact us” page).
We prefer the 35 micron variety as the thinner the band the less separation required for your contact points.
Dentists using Elliot Separator’s or strong ring systems may prefer the 50 micron version of the bands; trading off the increased need for separation with an even stiffer band.
