The Dentatus Profin IPR tips offer an extraordinary solution to the issue of fast and accurate interproximal reduction (IPR) during orthodontic treatment.

Profin IPR tips can be used exclusively with the Profin PDX reciprocating handpiece (sold separately). The blades are double sided with set widths of 0.1mm to 0.5mm and can be passed between contact points to ensure accurate, safe and efficient reduction.

Please note that in especially tight contact a proximal saw  (or simillar) may still needed before introducing the Profin blade to allow the tool to engage. 

Please also note the Orthodontic IPR tips should be run between 8000 and 10,000 (max) rpm. While the profin can be used on all E-Type motors they are best suited to a micromotor. If you plan to use one on a standard air motor please ensure you are able to reduce the speed (normally around 20,000 rpm) with the speed dial that some air motors have. 

The tips are also sold individually as refills and will occasionally need replacing as the diamonds wear or the plastic connection begins to fail but generally last for several months (depending on use). It is best to start with a starter kit so you have all the sizes and autoclavable organiser available.
