The Profin PDX is often viewed as a luxury, but the more you use it, the more essential it becomes. Its 1.2mm reciprocating stroke offers a level of control that rotating burs simply cannot match—especially near delicate gingival margins or for precise and efficient IPR during orthodontics. It is the gold standard for creating smooth, tactile-perfect finishes without the risk of "skipping" or over-prepping.

Please note: This product includes the Profin PDX Handpiece only. To begin clinical use, you will require one (or both) of the following tip systems (sold separately):

› For Composite & Margin Refinement: Use Lamineer Tips for finishing, contouring, and vertical margin refinement.
› For Orthodontic IPR: Use IPR Blades for fast, calibrated interproximal reduction (0.1mm to 0.5mm).
Precision Engineering
Dual-Motion Flexibility The PDX allows tips to either be locked into a specific angle for targeted shaping or left to rotate freely to follow natural tooth contours.
Universal Coupling Standard E-Type connection (ISO 3964) makes this handpiece compatible with all standard air and electric micromotors.
Speed & Safety Protocol:
To protect the handpiece and ensure clinical safety, please adhere to the following RPM limits:

• Lamineer Tips: 5,000 – 10,000 RPM.
• IPR Tips: 8,000 – 10,000 RPM.

If using a standard air motor (typically 20,000 RPM), ensure the speed is reduced via the motor dial before use.
