This band is specifically designed for performing deep margin elevation.
The shape of the bands was originally described by Pasquale Magne in his article, ‘Deep Margin Elevation: A Paradigm Shift’
The shape of this band is design to have an intense curvature to allow convergence and a tight subginigval fit. The height of the band is also reduced to allow the band to slide below the equator or maximum bulbsoity of the tooth to allow a better gingival seal.
These bands are all made with 50 micron hardened steel to help strengthen the bands.
