Knit-Pak™ Knitted Retraction Cord

Knit-Pak™ is a 100% cotton knitted gingival retraction cord, designed for predictable tissue displacement and haemostasis prior to impression taking or digital scanning.

The knitted construction allows the cord to absorb and carry more haemostatic solution than conventional twisted or braided cords, while remaining easy to pack into the sulcus. Once placed, the cord expands slightly and resists springing back out, helping provide effective gingival retraction and a clean, clearly defined preparation margin.

Knit-Pak™ is designed to cut cleanly without fraying, helping to reduce the risk of loose fibres becoming caught in rotary instruments.

The clever dispensing container also incorporates a ceramic cutting blade within the cap. Simply close the cap firmly to cut the required length of cord. The cut section remains held within the cap until removed, helping to minimise handling and reduce the risk of cross-contamination.
